Hi, I’m Connie Slater, a State Farm insurance agent serving Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas. Colorado weather can be unpredictable, from sunny days to sudden snowstorms, which is why my team and I offer flexible ways to connect. We’re available by phone, email, or text, and we’re happy to meet virtually or in person. Our office is open Monday through Friday, with weekend appointments available by request, so you can connect at a time that works for you.

My team and I take pride in helping customers better understand their insurance and financial services needs. We focus on providing clear information and options so you can make decisions that feel right for you. We assist with auto and home insurance, renters insurance, business insurance, and life and health insurance, and we work hard to make the process straightforward and approachable. Our goal is to create a comfortable experience where questions are welcome and conversations feel easy.

Our team operates as a small, local business right here in Colorado Springs. My team members and I either live in or have lived in the area, giving us familiarity with the neighborhoods where customers live, work, and spend time. From seasonal weather patterns to the unique characteristics of our local communities, we value the perspective that comes from being part of the area we serve.

My journey with State Farm began in 1990. Before becoming an agent, I gained experience working as an underwriter and in the field, which helped shape my understanding of the insurance industry. I opened my office in the Rockrimmon and Mountain Shadows area of Colorado Springs in 1999. I grew up on a family farm and ranch in Limon, Colorado, where I developed a strong work ethic. I earned a degree in finance from the University of Northern Colorado and later made my home in the northwestern part of Colorado Springs, near Garden of the Gods and Ute Valley Park. As a Colorado native, I value being part of this community and serving the people who call it home.

Our office works with customers throughout Colorado Springs, including Rockrimmon, Mountain Shadows, Peregrine, Briargate, Flying Horse, Black Forest, Gleneagle, Broadmoor, Old Colorado City, and Village Seven. We also serve nearby communities such as Manitou Springs, Monument, Palmer Lake, Woodmoor, Woodland Park, Castle Rock, Buena Vista, Falcon, Peyton, and Calhan, as well as customers across the state of Colorado.

Outside of the office, my team and I enjoy spending time outdoors exploring the Pikes Peak region and the Front Range. I enjoy hiking and biking, and we’re also big pet lovers. Well‐behaved dogs are welcome visitors in our Colorado Springs office.
