Just a bit about me, in case you are wondering. I have been with State Farm since 1990. I spent seven years working as an underwriter and in the field before deciding to become an agent and small business owner. I opened my agency in the Rockrimmon/Mountain Shadows area of Colorado Springs in July, 1999.

I grew up in Limon, CO on a family farm and ranch, so I understand the value of hard work. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) with a degree in finance. After working in Greeley for several years, I happily settled into the northwestern part of Colorado Springs, near Garden of the Gods and Ute Valley Park. Being a Colorado native, I understand the people here and their insurance needs.

We serve customers across the city of Colorado Springs, including the neighborhoods such as Rockrimmon, Mountain Shadows, Peregrine, Briargate, Flying Horse, Black Forest, Gleneagle, Broadmoor, Old Colorado City, Village Seven, and many more. We proudly serve the surrounding towns of Manitou Springs, Monument, Palmer Lake, Woodmoor, Woodland Park, Castle Rock, Buena Vista, Falcon, Peyton, Calhan, and many more. We truly enjoy our customers across the state, be they in Denver, Pueblo, Boulder, Westcliffe, Greeley, Parker, or Glenwood Springs! While many of our customers hail from right here in El Paso County, we are pleased to work with Colorado residents from the nearby counties of Douglas, Teller, Pueblo, Fremont, and Custer. Sometimes our customers start with us as their local Colorado Springs insurance agency, and when they move elsewhere in Colorado, they stay with us! We appreciate that very much!

The Connie Slater State Farm Insurance Agency is involved in the community and we feel blessed to be part of such a beautiful area! We take advantage of the natural beauty of the Pikes Peak area and the Front Range of the Rockies. I am an avid hiker, bike rider, as are my team members. We are all huge pet lovers, and dogs are always welcome visitors in our office, where we keep treats and love in plentiful supply!
